Arif
Ansari is an Assistant
Professor in the Department of English, Bengal College of Engineering and
Technology, Durgapur. He submitted his PhD dissertation in February 2026 working on the
trope of sacrifice in the select plays of Girish Karnad from Sidho-Kanho-Birsha
University, Purulia. He completed his master's from the same university. He has
the experience of working as a Field Investigator in an ICSSR-sponsored research project. His research interests include Indian drama and
theatre, theological studies, and the study of sacrifice.
