Swarnava
Bhattacharyya has completed his M.A. in English from
the University of Calcutta after completing his B.A. from Scottish Church
College, Kolkata. He has presented a number of research papers in different
national and international conferences including the institutions like Aligarh
Muslim University. He has also got a research paper and a short story published
in the peer-reviewed journals, Ruminations
and Motifs, respectively, while
contributing chapters to three edited volumes which include Ecology and Integrative Discourse: A
Reflective Analysis, Indian Short
Story: A Critical Evaluation and Cultural
Memory in Context: Interdisciplinary Perspectives. Currently, he is
teaching at the Department of English, Scottish Church College, as a Resource
Person. His primary research interest lies in the study of postcolonial
environments and travel narratives.
