A
PRAYER
The
cyclone of noise suddenly stopped.
Now
came deathly silence,
Devouring
all the sounds.
As if
I have entered the darkest tunnel,
First
gasping for breath,
Desperately
searching for light.
Now
numbing pain lulls me
Toward
perpetual slumber.
Random
visions of love and life are beckoning
To
ignite the spark shattering the gloom.
With
the last of my strength,
I am
struggling
To
reach out for the light and warmth.
Can I
breathe once more?
