Kiran K is a scholar of English Literature who cleared both the UGC NET and KSET examinations in his first attempt. He is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Studies in English at Haveri University. His academic and creative interests revolve around the exploration of love, life, memory, suffering, and the many unanswered questions that shape human existence. His works and research primarily lean towards socio-political cinema, media studies, philosophy, and psychology, often approached through an interdisciplinary lens. Deeply influenced by literary theory, psychoanalytic thought, and philosophical inquiry, his writings attempt to understand the emotional and ideological structures behind human behaviour and cultural expression. Alongside academics, he is also interested in creative and reflective writing that bridges emotion, thought, and artistic representation. Through his teaching and research, Kiran K seeks to engage with literature not merely as text, but as a space where philosophy, psychology, cinema, and society intersect to create meaningful discussions on identity, reality, grief, and human experience.
