THE SANCTUM OF NATURE

(1)
At dawn, I set out for the dense forest
As I hear the shady trees call me,
A lonely path winds along the clear river,
Dew-bathed grass everywhere I see,
Wildflowers splash their vibrant hues around,
Deep in the forest’s heart, a treasure I’ve found.
(2)
Warm sunrays swim in the sapphire sky
A gentle breeze wakes the flowers,
Whispers of morning float in the nippy air,
Time glides gaily in the quiet hours,
Silent, sweet, sacred notes touch everything,
The inner peace and joys to me, they bring.
(3)
Tiny pearls trickle down from the leaves
Strange birds catch them in their beaks,
Doll-like leverets frolicking free and fair,
I stand staring at their glee and streaks,
Joys shimmering dance on every blade of grass,
Lost in deep reverie, eyes closed, I dare not pass.
(4)
When I return, scenes and sights still thrill me
The birds floating among the clouds so high,
Myriad ducks and swans swim in
placid waters,
A haven with peace and piety under the sky,
Nature pours blessings every morning on all,
O, humans, drink in her beauty, endless fall.
