Prajakta J. Meshram is a PhD research scholar in
English at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, RTM Nagpur University, under the guidance
of Dr Shiromani Deshbhratar. She holds
an M.A. in English and has qualified for the NET and SET examinations. In
addition, she completed her M.Phil. degree from Gondwana University,
Gadchiroli. Her research focuses on cultural hegemony in Hindi cinema,
particularly on caste, gender and representation.
